Holy ketchup day.

Yes, I feel as though I have dissapeared off the blogging circuit. It's not that I have nothing going on, in fact it might be quite the opposite. Come on folks, who said planning a wedding in 3 months was easy? Well, I'm happy to report, things are going really well so far! We got our invitations in the mail a few days ago and spent an hour or so assembling, stamping and addressing :). It makes it seem so much more real now. We went them out yesterday! I will show them off later, once I've ensured that everyone's gotten them. I'm in love with Vistaprint.com is amazing. Cheap, cute & has EVERYTHING we needed including thank you cards!

Something that I'm also really excited about is that we finally ordered the bridesmaid dresses. We ended up finding them at a local shop that is actually about 1/2 a mile from my house. Go figure! The girls will look beautiful in them... I can't wait until they come in. There's a lot behind the (Bridesmaid dresses) and my own dress. I don't want to share too much as I feel as though it will take away the element of surprise, and I will be more than happy to tell the story later but let me just say: there are some really amazing people left in this world :) and you should never ever underestimate or take for granted, the niceness of a complete stranger. Let me just leave it at this...I have my dream dress! Woo hoo. More to come later, but just know, that I am once extremely happy, & overly grateful lady right now :).

Everything else is falling into place very nicely. Like I've mentioned before, the fact that Hurd takes care of sooo much, it really leaves the "extras" from our side really manageable. We found a DJ...It's an old co-worker of MY old Supervisor at work. He runs a DJ business on the side, so we were able to get it for super cheap. Not to mention, my wonderful Aunt has decided to give this to us as a wedding gift (she claims I have too much stuff...she may be right). It was a wonderfully thoughtful gift, and we really do appreciate it.

I was also really happy to find someone to do our hair on the wedding day! I went to a bridal show last weekend with my best bud Amanda. In the midst of cake tasting, taking pictures in photo booths and "sampling" Hypnotiq...We were flagged down by a few ladies at a hair salon and spa booth. They started asking questions about if I had someone to do my hair (truthfully I didn't at that point) and she asked if we wanted a demo done, on MY hair. I said sure, why the heck not! So I looked through the hair book, found one that I loved and the woman got to work. About 25 minutes later, she starts spraying the crap out of my hair (I had to cover up the mimosa amanda bought me while we were waiting..). I thought she may be taking a break, but she gave me the mirror to take a look. I was soo impressed! Not to brag, but my hair looked great! It was just what i was hoping for. And obviously she took only 25 minutes because it was a demo..So it would look even more lovely after spending some more time on it ... :). After they were done, I looked at their pricing (I assumed they had to be really expensive and they wanted to get me hooked). I was shocked to discover not only were there prices reasonable, but because I booked on the day of the show it was even cheaper. Plus, they are going to come right on site for my wedding (we get the cottage across from the venue for free w/ the wedding packege, so it's a place to get ready). Woo hoo!!

A little break from wedding stuff...Yesterday I took Hunter Charles to get his hair cut. He freaked out a little but when it was all said and done, I can't stop thinking how handsome and grown-up he looks..

More to come soon!
